It seems like possibly one of the most successful clothing companies in MMA history is starting to bite off more than it can chew.
You can normally see the Affliction fashion show at any UFC sporting event. Not anymore. Dana White has prohibited Affliction to be worn by it’s contracted Athletes. Elite XC has followed suit. Can you see the trend?
Fiveouncesofpain.com reports that an event scheduled for July 19th between Fedor Emelianenko and former UFC title-holder Tim Sylvia, has also been canned.
It’s time Affliction play in their own backyard and continue making cash selling $60 tees and sponsoring awesome athletes instead of biting the hands that feed them.
That’s Gymtop’s 2 cents.
Update
It looks like Affliction will officially become fight promoters. Now they can showcase their clothing at their own events.
