It’s awesome to see athletes like Rashad Evans appearing in advertising campaigns this large. What it does for the sport of MMA is huge. Even the guys at Techcrunch, a blog about new web technologies and companies, mentioned the “Sugar” man in a most recent blog post.

In late July, Kevin Ferguson aka Kimbo Slice and long time MMA apparel company, Tapout joined forces to create an exclusive apparel line for the street brawling legend. There has been a bunch of speculation about what in the world Rashad Evans had on his walkout t-shirt. It wasn’t a shirt bearing logos from all of his sponsors, it was a simple image of a mug shot of Microsoft whiz kid Bill Gates being booked in Albuquerque, NM for a traffic violation. Classic!
