Sean Sherk demonstrating one of his workout routines while using the Elevation Training Mask.
Elevation Training Mask mimics the effect of High Altitude Training. When top athletes want to improve in their performance, they go to high altitude levels to train, and when they come back to sea level to race, they are performing much stronger, faster, and have more endurance due to the type of training they have been doing prior to the event.
The Reem is a new multi-part online documentary based on the career and current happenings of Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem. Only two official episodes have been released at the time of this writing (centered around the Brett Rogers fight), but we believe that there will be more posted on reemdocumentary’s YouTube page in the coming weeks. Bas Rutten melts down again, this time disgraces elderly shaolin monk!
New York, NY (May 5, 2010) – Bas “El Guapo” Rutten melts down again, attacking and disgracing elderly Shaolin Monk.
Charles Jebara, President of Tokyo Five Brand announced today that the company has launched a formal inquiry into the alleged actions of Bas Rutten last Saturday evening at a Shaolin Monastery near the Wudang Mountains in Hubei, China.
Rutten was filming a commercial for Tokyo Five when he unexpectedly attached and humiliated an elderly monk.
We have supported Bas’ indiscretions in the past, but this time he may have gone too far,” said Jebara. “We are looking into the incident and will have to reevaluate our relationship with El Guapo when all the facts are known.”
Rutten did not return calls for a comment and his whereabouts are still unknown.
“Right now we are just thankful that no one was seriously injured.” Jebara said. “We have all the respect in the world for the Shaolin monks and apologize to anyone who may have been attacked or embarrassed by Rutten. Tokyo Five Brand does not support attacks on the elderly whether they be monk or otherwise.”
This was the second collaboration between Tokyo Five and Rutten.
