Cain Velasquez was originally slated to face Shane Carwin to determine the number one contender in the UFC’s heavyweight division, however that would have meant the champion, Brock Lesnar, could have been out of action for a number of months waiting for a challenger. With Carwin being bumped up to face Lesnar at UFC 106, Velasquez was quickly matched up with former IFL standout, Ben Rothwell, at UFC 104. With the event only a week away, Dethrone Royalty has released a limited edition Cain Velasquez tee. With the event taking place in Los Angeles, the front of the shirt features numerous images representative of the host city, along with an image of Velasquez himself. The front of the shirt is also highlighted by the Dethrone name written across the chest in blue foil. Since the shirt is limited, only 104 have been created.
