Launched in July of 2009, Born Stronger has been slipping slowly into the eye of mainstream media. With the sponsorship of  explosive fighters like Paulo Thiago and UFC newcomer, Todd Duffee, this fashion forward brand seem to have big plans for the upcoming year. The Octagon Girl tee focuses on the entertainment in the ring while the athletes are resting. Featuring blue foil accents on the Born Stronger octagon logo, the shirt is a most for fans who want to get away from the skulls and crosses for a bit.

Officially launched during the week of the UFC fan Expo on July 10th, 2009, Born Stronger hit the MMA community with the first ever mixed martial arts sportswear collection. The collection consists of hoodies, shorts, warm-up suits, belt buckles, t-shirts, underwear, beanies and hats. According to Born Stronger’s brand manger, Christian Mikolasch, MMA is the purest form of sport in the world and decided to recruit graphic design warriors from all corners of the world. Some designers come from as far as Brazil, Japan and China. Mr. Mikolasch believes that having an international array of designers will give the Born Stronger brand that “global” feel. Leveraging social media to promote the brand via various contests and promotions and sponsoring fighters like Jamie Varner and Brazilian BJJ star, Rani Yahya is sure to make the Born Stronger label a household name.
