Fedor Emelianenko is something of a legend in our sport. After all, you don’t get a nickname like “The Last Emperor” easily. With a 32-1-1 record, Fedor has defeated many of the who’s who in Mixed Martial Arts. On Saturday June 26th, Fedor will fight again for the Strikeforce / M-1 Global promotion against BJJ ace Fabricio Werdum.

RVCA has recently released its second t-shirt for Fedor Emelianenko. The new shirt is very similar to the original Fedor tee RVCA put out prior to his bout with Brett Rogers, the only difference is that the new shirt does not feature the two headed eagle on the front. Whether it is because of the Fedor name, or the design of the tee, the original has become quite popular, and more then likely so too will this scaled down version. Currently the shirt is only available in white.

Next weekend will mark the return to prime-time on network cable for MMA, as Strikeforce and M-1 Global co-promote Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. As the name would suggest, the main event will feature heavyweights Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogers, with the winner likely getting a shot at Alistair Overeem’s almost vacant heavyweight crown. In anticipation of this huge event, Fedor has partnered with lifestyle apparel brand, RVCA, for his official cornerman tee. The t-shirts are available in three colors; red, white and black. The front of the shirt features the RVCA name, Fedor’s name, and a two headed eagle as a symbolic reference to Emelianenko’s native Russia. The back of the shirt, along with the sleeves, also feature Fedor’s and RVCA’s names, respectively.

Round 5 MMA  has recently announced series 3 of their popular collectible MMA star figures. The series includes “Big” John McCarthy, Andrei Arlovski, Frank Mir and Antonio Nogueira. Round 5 plans to release 3 more series within 2009. Within those series will include a Fedor Emelianenko figure. The quality and details of each figurine is superb. Most recently banned by UFC and EliteXC, the folks at Affliction Clothing have been hard at work promoting their first ever fight event to be held on July 19th, 2008.

The event officially and appropriately named “Banned” will showcase some of the worlds most talented fighters.

The main event of the night will be the long awaited battle between Fedor Emelianenko and Tim Sylvia.
