If you are a fan of 80′s heavy metal, you will no doubt appreciate Silver Star’s new walkout tee that Clay Guida will be wearing for his bout with Kenny Florian at UFC 107 this weekend. The front of Guida’s shirt features an Iron Maiden inspired graphic, while the back of the shirt features a Silver Star logo that is also consistent with the 80s metal theme. When K-1 legends like Ernesto Hoost, Peter Aerts, Ray Sefo and Semmy Schilt are mentioned, it’s guaranteed that Jerome Le Banner’s name is lumped in there somewhere. With an overall impressive kickboxing career on the books, Le Banner continues to do battle with some of the toughest athletes in the world. Jonny “Bones” Jones has looked better every time he has stepped inside the octagon, and he will hope to continue that trend when he meets Matt Hamill in the main event of the Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale. Once again, Jones will be sporting a signature series tee from Silver Star as he walks out to the octagon. Self described as “hardcore Christian“, Jones’ shirt features religious imagery on the front and back of the shirt. The black tee also features Jones’ name and nickname on the front , while the Silver Star name is printed on the top of both sides of the shirt and also the left sleeve.

Top lifestyle brand Silver Star has been super busy collecting some of the best combat talent around the world and almost creating a sub culture out of their combat collection alone. The Silver Star “Flying High” t-shirt is without a doubt an homage to where the brand currently is and where it’ll continue to be with it’s increase in popularity. On October 12th, 2009 infamous lifestyle brand Silver Star celebrated the debut of its Spring 2010 collection with an extravagant, closed to public fashion show that took place at Social Hollywood. The packed house contained a variety of Hollywood A-listers from Carmen Elektra to Jose Canseco and featured Rashad Evans strutting his stuff on the runway amongst many other MMA fighters and punk rock skateboarders. The focus for Silver Star’s Spring 2010 collection was keeping it youthful and edgy for both its consumer audience as well as its industry clientele. Despite suffering another loss at the hands of Mike Brown at WEC 41, Urijah Faber is eagerly awaiting a return to the cage to get back in the win column and get another shot at Brown’s title. While Faber recovers from surgery on a broken right hand, Silver Star Casting Company has released a new Urijah Faber monogram tee. The premium shirt features a golden UF monogram topped with a royal crown, and Faber’s nickname, the “California Kid”, on the front. The back also features the monogram, along with the Silver star name, and Faber’s name. This 100% cotton tee is accented with gold highlights on the front and back.

There is no doubt that Silver Star is at the top of their game. Producing extreme quality products and sponsoring champion grade fighters is no wonder Silver Star is one of the top perfoming MMA apparel brands in the market. Two weeks ago Luke Burrett, owner of Silver Star, delivered the news that he would sponsor Machida for his next UFC title defending bout against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. Edging closer to the October 24th event, Silver Star has released the “Machida Dragon” walkout tee. The dragon artwork on the tee is phenomenal as well as the red/yellow/orange mixture of colors. The shirt is available for pre-order on the Silver Star web site and will be ready for shipment on October 12th.
