For his UFC debut, Yoshihiro Akiyama teamed up with MMA apparel giant Silver Star to deliver an extraordianry t-shirt design. Complete with skull and gold foil scaled skeletal koi fish Silver Star continuously sets itself apart from the competetion. Yoshihiro a K-1 veteran will be up against Alan “Talent” Belcher at UFC 100. Belcher threw sand in Dennis Kang’s debut at UFC 93 when Kang tapped out due to a second round guillotine choke. It’s awesome to see two companies in the same industry team up and deliver superb quality gear to MMA enthusiasts worldwide. American Fighter and Silver Star Casting Company teamed up to deliver the offical walkout tee for Rich Franklin. The “Ace” is up against the “Axe Murder” Wanderlei Silva on a stacked UFC 99 card being held in Germany. The t-shirt features cool cobalt blue foil accents and superb artwork and lettering. Urijah Faber has always been sponsored by No Fear, but just recently Silver Star Casting company has scooped him up in a non-exclusive sponsorship deal and has since released a premium t-shirt after Urijah’s namesake “The California Kid”. On the other hand, No Fear has also released a new t-shirt for Faber which he will supposedly wear at WEC on June 7th when he enters the ring to battle Mike Brown. Silver Star Casting Co. takes it up one more notch and adds Urijah Faber to it’s list of champions. Read the official press release below.

nonexclusive clothing sponsorship, as he prepares to reclaim his featherweight title from Mike
Brown in June 7th’s WEC 41 at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, CA.
Currently ranked #2, and holding a record of 22-2-0, California native, Urijah Faber, was stripped
of his featherweight champion crown by technical knockout in November 2008′s bout with Brown.
Silver Star Casting Co. wants to see Faber win back his title and is supporting him in his upcoming
fight with a signature tee due June 1, 2009. The garment will be a patriotic tribute with an eagle and
stars and stripes in the wings, with “California Kid” in script.
