Alas, the long awaited battle between two of the top Brazilian fighters in the UFC, Lyoto Machida and Thiago Silva. Both fighters are undefeated and it will be a brawl to see who will remain on top. This is the official Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida walkout shirt created by Bad Boy MMA. The front of the tee features dragon artwork, Japanese characters in gold foil and Bad Boy/sponsor logos. On the back is the infamous Bad Boy logo with Lyoto’s name and sponsor logos. The t-shirt is mineral washed 30 single hand grinded for that soft feel and is 100% cotton. Available in only in red and is ready for shipping at the end of February.

Photographer/director Estevan Oriol has been putting his unique photgraphy style to good use. If he isn’t lending his creative talent in visual art to famous rappers like Eminem or Cypress Hill he is putting together some solid gear focused around his own world. The “punching bag” tee is one of his latetst creations. It’s available in black and comes in all sizes.

Encounter UK teams up with UK’s MMA poster boy Michael Bisping to deliver a special edition UFC 89 t-shirt. “The Count” finds himself up against TUF season one bad boy Chris Leben. A couple days ago there was an interesting story on MMAPayout.com about what type of impact MMA clothing companies have on local economies. Since our job is delivering news related to this side of the MMA business, it was quite an interesting read. Apparel company and fight organization, Affliction recently threw some new garbs into their constantly expanding clothing catalog consisting of a mixture of hats, jeans, thermals(includes new Georges “Rush” St. Pierre thermal) and t-shirts. It looks like they are getting ready for the fall weather. Surely will see more items roll out for fall/winter as Affliction gets ready for their “Day of Reckoning” event set for October, 11. American Fighter has developed a new logo and with it a new look. The “Never Accept Defeat” t-shirt is no less than straight up patriotic. Peer review and contribution clothing label, ManUp Wear, recently crowned a new winner to it’s design contest and has already begin sales on the “Pirate Skull Chainsaw Kiss” tee. For those who don’t know, ManUp wear is a clothing company that utilizes the web as an edge to keep it’s creations fresh and innovative by allowing their ManUp Wear community choose which designs best fit the company’s profile. Winning designs are paid $500 + revenue share if chosen.
ManUp Wear is also very active in the MMA community and has most recently sponsored a MMA prediction contest over at RedSweat.com, a MMA news blog.
