Some collaborations are just senseless. Okay, it’s understood that both industries live a fast paced, glamorous lifestyle but what could TapouT possibly achieve from producing a line of clothing for a near bankrupt skin magazine? At most, they’ll sell a handful of t-shirts…unless it comes bundled with a free magazine subscription to Penthouse. Check out the details at TapouT.

Yep, i couldn’t agree with you more. I wouldn’t in a million years wear something that said Penthouse on it, not that i really like any of them designs pictured anyway.

Also does that middle one say “Hard For The Sport” ? It just gets more tacky everytime i look at it.

Why? My theory……………..TapouT seems to have just become a logo…. associated and slapped on whichever and whatever willy nilly… beds shoes vitamins…this deal with penthouse seems in line with that thinking… they are hello kitty for the mma set…. just plaster it on as many platforms as you possibly can……

Strange indeed, I would like to know why Tapout took part in such a collaboration like this one.

Ah good, i thought they changed the slogan to make it even more tacky on this shirt.
I suppose it’s that TapouT are in such a dominate position MMA clothing wise that they can afford to try different things, if these shirts fail to sell well, then it’s not going to bankrupt them, and you never know, there might be a market for these and it makes them a ton of money (i wouldn’t put it past a lot of people to love these!). Your right about TapouT just being a logo now, but amongst all the corporate items i still think they get it right sometimes, the Thiago Alves and Eddie Alvarez shirts recently on here are some of my favorites i’ve seen in a long while.
